The dinner church service is about experiencing the amazing grace of God while sharing a meal together, sharing faith together, and sharing the love of God with one another. It is based on the exciting movement happening across the country that is providing free meals and the opportunity for people in low income neighborhoods to experience God’s grace through the sharing of the Gospel around tables.
Partnering with Keep Indy Beautiful and our neighbors in the surrounding community to keep our neighborhoods clean.
Each year, Covenant Community Church hosts two community jazz events: Our Outdoor Jazz Concert held in the first week in June and our Advent Jazz Concert held the first week in December. These concerts bring together people from all walks of life from the surrounding communities. At the Outdoor Jazz concerts, people come together to celebrate a diversity of music from R&B, Jazz, gospel, and Latin jazz. At our Advent Jazz concerts people come together to hear advent carols, gospel, and jazz. They come to enjoy the musical anticipation of Christmas! Each concert features a well-known local jazz band and a freewill offering is collected to support the church’s mission programs.
Help make the holidays joyful for some of our neighbors and Care Partners in need
Each December, members of the congregation have the opportunity to help make the holidays joyful for some of our neighbors and Care Partners in need through the Angel Tree Ministry. An “Angel Tree” is placed in the church Fellowship Hall in late November. Care Partners make donations for families and children from various schools and agencies who have identified those in need.
Bring non-perishable and non-expired food items each Sunday for the food pantry.
