Music & Media Ministry

The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD.

The purpose of the Music Ministry is to exhort, uplift, and encourage the body of Christ through song and worship. Members of the Music Ministry must be faithful members of Covenant Community Church. They must strive to live according to God’s will and purpose and be on one accord in mind and heart according to the word of God.

A key component of the Music Ministry is the praise and worship portion of the service on Sunday mornings. The significance of praise and worship is of profound importance in the lives of our Care Partners. God has given us the responsibility and the privilege of proclaiming His righteousness with our mouth and hands and through music. This is to be a part of our lifestyle.

The objective of the Media Ministry is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media.

Packaging the gospel message in the age of aesthetics requires Christian communicators to be creative, intentional, and to give great attention to details.

The objective of the Media Ministry is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media. By this we are aiming to enhance the worship experience, communicating with the congregation, extending the congregation beyond the walls of the church, and proliferating the message.

This ministry not only provides the technical support required for our worship services, but also records various events, teachings and sermons, which are made available on DVD and for viewing or podcasting here on our website and app.

As a clarion call, any media-related work is taken on with an absolute commitment to quality. Packaging the gospel message in the age of aesthetics requires Christian communicators to be creative, intentional, and to give great attention to details.
