Lenten Sermon Series: Journey of Stones

This Lenten season we will embark as a community of faith on what we are calling a Journey of Stones. Drawing on the rich imagery of rocks and stones in Scripture, each week Pastor    Wallace will be using the metaphor of stones as representative of our sins.  We hope that you join us each week as together we travel the Lenten journey and discover how Christ takes our sin upon Himself, so that we might be truly prepared to hear the Easter message of the Stone that was Rolled Way.

Ways to Celebrate Lent at Covenant (details below)

  • Begin your Lenten Journey at our annual Ash Wednesday Service.
  • Exercise with us during Lent on Wednesday evenings (March 12 – April 16)
  • Serve lunch or dinner at Circle City Dinner Ministry on April 2 or April 9.
  • Register to attend a Christian Seder Meal on Wednesday, April 16 @ 6:30 P.M.
  • Worship with us on Palm Sunday.
  • Sign up for a 30 minute spot to pray and reflect at our Good Friday prayer vigil.
  • Join us for Good Friday Service.
  • Celebrate the Risen Savior on Easter Sunday.
  • Don’t forget to bring non perishable and non expired items for Crooked Creek food pantry.
