ARRANGEMENTS FOR FUNERALS & MEMORIAL SERVICES

Even for Christians, the death of a loved one is a difficult experience. We grieve the loss of one who has been close, but we do not sorrow as those who have no hope (I Thessalonians 4:13). It is our desire and privilege to minister to the families of our congregation in their time of need. It is through the Word of God that we have hope at the time of death of a loved one (Romans 15:4). This policy is provided to assist our families and friends in planning and providing a Christian funeral and or memorial service.

To request and arrange a funeral or memorial service, please contact the church office at 317-298-7868 as soon as possible so that we may provide pastoral care to the family and friends.

Funeral Planning Guide

To help relieve their families, an increasing number of people are planning their own funerals and designating their preferences. From a favorite memory, scripture, or hymn – planning ahead is a gift to your family in their time of grief. Some people see funeral planning as an extension of will and estate planning. Covenant Community Church is here to assist you in making these decisions by providing you our Funeral Planning Guide.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only funerals for Covenant Community Church members are currently being scheduled.  We pray this pandemic will come to a close soon, so that we can be there for you as your grieve the loss of your loved one.
