Shelley Carver

She has 29 years of experience in administrative church ministry.  She began her ministry in the local church setting in 1994 in Randolph County, Indiana. She promoted to the position of Administrative Assistant to District Superintendent Rev. David Maish in the former Muncie District United Methodist Church in 2000.  She was also one of the first “District Communicators” to the former North Indiana Conference under Bishop Woodie White while helping to launch the newly formed “Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors” marketing campaign locally in Randolph County.

Upon her family’s move to Ohio in 2003, Shelley came on board as Director of Administration to Happy Corner Church of the Brethren for eleven years.  In that role, she helped the church to redefine what missional ministry looked like in a local community setting, and served multiple pastors, while providing leadership to this local congregation in transition.

Shelley is passionate about radical hospitality, and is excited to serve Covenant Community Church during this time of growth under Rev. Dr. McLaughlin’s leadership.  Her specialty is providing excellent administrative gifts to local congregations and the Pastoral leadership team that she serves.

Shelley is married to Daniel Carver, a Cardiac Rhythm Management Specialist for Abbott Pharmaceutical.  They have been married for 27 years, and are the parents of three children.  They reside in Fishers, Indiana.
